Summer Podcast project = successful!

…and now it’s over. Thanks to everybody for tuning in this summer.  Now that it’s over, if you have a hole in your heart because you want to hear more podcasts, let me know, okay?  Perhaps I’ll resurrect the ol’ podcast down the road. And if you’re one of those folks who always meant to [...]

Podcast: The video store

Wherein I tell a sweet lil’ story about going to the video store and thinking about how I could foment its destruction.  I also mention naked ladies. Excerpt: And it’s sad.  A desolate wasteland of forced grins and rubber chicken wit.  Movies we’ve never heard of, starring faces that almost look like famous people.  Who [...]

Want to hear more?  Click on the [...]

The reception was held in this postal union hall, only my aunts had done everything over in lavender and yellow crepe paper. They had [...]

Podcast: Changing my name

Somebody did a study a while back and discovered that even though women make up half the graduates of playwriting programs across the country, only something like ten percent of new play productions are going to women playwrights. Or something like that – I can’t remember the exact numbers, probably because I’m a girl and girls are stupid.
